Are you making these rental car mistakes?

Cheap car rental offers are common on the Internet. But not all of them are good deals. There are a few things you need to look for ... or your cheap rental car offer could be much more expensive than planned!

Here are some things you don't have to do:

* Forget to check the condition of the car

When you pick up the car, check it carefully. Some companies blame existing scratches and dents. They know that it needs to be fixed and are waiting for a fool to pay for it. This is less likely for large reputable companies, but can be avoided with these tips.

Ask the page or when you want to pick it up. If you have a digital camera or video camera, which you are likely to do when you go on vacation, take a quick look at the car. So you can test the exact condition of the car when you first took it.

* Don't use the internet to check the best deals

Of course you will check the offers on the Internet! You are probably reading this article here. But there are still people who don't control and only accept the first offline offer they see. Check online and use one of the search engines that analyzes many different rental car deals.

* Don't even check offline

Although the internet is probably the best place for car rental deals, it's worth checking offline too. I've found that when I search for hotel deals, I often get the best deals by calling in advance and negotiating with the front desk (it's difficult to negotiate with a website). However, for airline tickets, the best deals are usually online and the phone / walk-in prices are higher and cannot be negotiated.

However, if you want to cover all of your bases with rental cars, you should look online and offline. Your local car dealer may have a special offer that they forgot to update on the website, or maybe someone just canceled a booking and you can get it cheaply in no time.

* Do not check the conditions of your rental car carefully

Make sure you have unlimited mileage if you want to drive a lot. Some offers have a mileage allowance that charges you a high dollar per additional mile. Unlimited works best most of the time.

Check the conditions to see if you need to return the full or nearly empty gas tank. I once made the mistake of returning it in full when I didn't need it: the car rental company refused to reimburse the costs.

* You cannot clean the car if you really get it dirty

It's okay to return it dusty from driving for a few hundred miles, but if your child gets sick or someone pours coffee or drops a hamburger and fries, clear it up! If not, the car rental company will add a cleaning fee to your credit card.

Follow these tips and you will experience a relaxed and stress-free car rental that is all ready to enjoy your vacation for taxi hire in Jaipur or business trip.
