Deshnok Temple

 

It is a fascinating and unique attraction in Bikaner, where people come from all over. About 20,000 rats live in this temple and are treated like kings. The temple is dedicated to Karni Mata, the incarnation of the goddess Durga. According to legend, the goddess lived here in the 14th century. And it is believed that the souls of the dead Charans, the followers of the goddess, live in these mice. The temple also has a beautiful marble facade and huge silver doors.

 

Camel Festival

 

To see the colorful sides of Bikaner, join their camel festival, which takes place in January each year. The highlights of the festival are dance, music, camel sports and traditional cuisine.
